The process of Eco-dyeing and Printing is an artistic alchemy involving the plant materials, rainwater, iron and fire. It is a unique form of the union between ecology and art that we call Eco-Art.
In our process with Mother Nature we lay out the plant materials on the silk, roll it up, tie it up and steam or simmer.
Unrolling our bundles, we discover a unique treasure every time! Mystery, surprise and beauty greet us as the essences of the leaves and flowers reveal themselves to us.
We are working in collaboration with the Earth and the plant spirits, encouraging each plant to imprint its unique signature onto the fabric.
Each item we make is a one-of-a-kind magical creation. We believe that our Eco-dyed and Eco-printed silk scarves are a co-creation with Mother Earth, and when you wrap yourself in a scarf, you are held in Her embrace.
